Scrambled Eggs with Oregano Oil and Garlic!

Here is a recipe that kicks scrambled eggs up a notch, and helps boost the immune system.

You will need Young Living Oregano Oil. Go to www.youngliving.org/essenceofoil to order.

Ingredients:
6 free range eggs (grass fed chickens)
1/4 cup favorite cheese
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 big clove of garlic
3 tablespoons milk from grass fed cows
YL oregano oil (1 drop)

First thing you will need to do is drizzle a little bit of your 3 T. olive oil into pan. Then with the reserve, add 1 drop of the YL oregano oil. (Make sure this in in a glass dish). Set aside. In another bowl, put your eggs, cheese and milk. Whisk together. Then mince your garlic clove and put in pan with olive oil. Turn onto medium heat. Now go back to your olive oil with added oregano oil. Drip about 1 tsp. worth into your egg mixture. Save the rest of the olive oil with oregano for something else. Whisk your eggs one more time. By now the pan should be hot and the garlic a little crispy. Add your eggs. Let them cook on one side and then flip.

Serve with Fresh Tomatoes if you choose. Very flavorful eggs!

Lavender Lemonade Drink with Fresh Mint

Want a great way to use Young Living's lavender oil in a beverage? Lavender is known for it's relaxing properties. Below is my own recipe for a delicious, refreshing summer beverage.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup freshly picked peppermint
4 washed lemons
1/2 cup raw sugar, or honey
1 cup ice cubes
1 bottle Young Living Lavender Oil
1/4 cup berries for garnish

First you will want to pick your peppermint and dice it up into small pieces. Put this into a pretty glass pitcher. It's better to have clear glass, so that you can see the lemonade. Then slice all of your lemons very thinly and put into a separate bowl. Add the sugar or honey and start mashing. Mash the lemons with sugar until everything is real juicy. Then pour your lemons and juice into the pitcher. Add your ice cubes, and fill up the pitcher with water. Lastly, add 2 drops of YL lavender oil, and 1/4 cup of any choice berries for garnish. You can add more berries if you like.
Your friends will love this on a hot day!
Plus- you will relax and feel great!

Tofu in your Tacos

Tofu-. I'm not a vegetarian, but I definitely like vegetarian dishes from time to time. When I can get a large amount of tofu on sale- this is a dish I like to make.

First you need to marinate the tofu. Open your package and drain the water. Slice the tofu into 1/2" thick pieces. Lay the slices on paper towels to drain for about 10-15 minutes. Then set all of your tofu slices into a large baking dish. (Just to marinate). I eyeball the recipe. Sorry! That's just the way I cook. Typically, unless you have a lot of tofu, the following will be plenty. The type of tofu that works best is Organic Firm.

Marinade
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Bragg's liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce)
2 T. Raw Sugar
1 Tsp. ground Ginger
2 Tsp. ground Garlic

Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl. Pour over your tofu. If there doesn't seem to be enough, make another batch. What I usually do is prep this item first. While I'm making the rest of my meal I agitate the baking dish every 10 minutes. (Let tofu soak for an hour at least). I grill my tofu first on my Foreman grill to cook off the rest of the water and make it -a little crunchy. Now I usually make one meal with the tofu this way, and then Tacos on the second day with the leftovers.

Basically you are just substituting your tofu for ground beef, turkey etc. I take my leftover tofu out of the fridge and dice it into bit-sized pieces. Put all of the pieces into a small pot and add about 1/4 cup water. Then shake Taco seasonings over the tofu and cook on med. I use a packet or pre-mixed Taco Seasonings. I don't like to use too much, so I shake to taste. Cook until mixture simmers. Prepare all of the other fixings for tacos and use the tofu in place of meat. My kids just love it!
